My sincerest apologies for my long absence from the blog and my YouTube channel. It’s so crazy how people who make money making content have all the time in the world to do it, but those of us who are master procrastinators and big fans of the, “Ooh, shiny!” distractable crowd struggle to remain focused. Who would’ve thought!
(Yes, that was sarcasm, save the apology.)
Not a whole bunch has been going on with me. One big win is that I have found that I now cannot seem to buy things from unethical companies and brands. This is similar to how I went vegan, which was cold turkey (pun intended) and then one day in the grocery store I found myself grimacing and speed-walking though the dead flesh aisle. I can’t even bring myself to buy anything in the Target clearance section, which is a real big change from old Jessii.
Another thing that I am doing this month is Dressember. Have you heard about it? I hadn’t before all my research into ethical clothing began last year. It is a fundraising campaign to end human trafficking. (More info and a spotlight to come later.) One of the big components of the campaign is to wear a dress every day in December, hence Dressember. I am planning on posting on/around the 15th as a halfway check in on my progress.
