The Long Absence & R.I.P. Cladwell App

Hello everyone!

My sincerest apologies for my lengthy absence. My life is no longer my own as it is the end of the school year (yes, I really am a teacher) and I have once again overextended myself to the point that I forgot about my birthday until Facebook reminded me. This time of year is always bittersweet because in twenty-four days my students will be moving onward and upward but I also tend to have a flood of anxiety around the beginning of June due to the overwhelming expectations I put on myself.

That being said, I have had some wonderful things happen in my personal – what am I saying? I mean school, I have no personal life – life. I applied for and won a grant for technology in the classroom totaling $5000. Which will be amazing for two reasons: 1. I can implement a really amazing speaking and listening unit into my instruction and 2. I will finally have some technology in my classroom. The only technology I have had all year is my teacher laptop, so ten iPads will be a nice change of pace.

BUT! Back to fashion because that’s what I talk about here. The Cladwell app is no more. 😦 I think it was essential in getting me started, but it became very glaring that there were issues with my taste and the matching together of outfits. You also could only choose from their options which I thought was a little silly because flats in winter in the PNW is crazy talk. However, I would still definitely recommend the app for those trying to declutter or simplify their closets.

Also, if you haven’t checked out my YouTube Channel, I will be getting a couple of clothing series rolling here in the next few weeks. Be sure to subscribe!
